Job Title: Finance Manager Team: Management Reports to: General Manager Location: Cape Town, South Africa
Manages and coordinates the company's financial function across sub-functions such as accounting, cost management, budgeting, finance, audit, credit, collections, processes and tax to meet company’s business requirements.
Accountable for the financial health of the organization.
Guiding senior management in making sound business decisions in the long and short term.
Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines.
Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.
Present financial reports to RH Head Office.
Oversee financial and cash flow forecasts.
Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
Developing external relationships with auditors, attorneys, bankers, company secretariat and statutory organizations.
Initiate and supervise annual budget process to ensure that the corporate objectives are met.
Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation.
Ensure that financial practices are in line with all statutory legislation and regulations.
Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures.
Managing legal, tax and insurance matters.
To lead and guide the finance team.
Performance/Staff Appraisals for finance team.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with QHSE guidelines and procedures.
Authorities: Approvals as per Company’s Signatory Authority Policy.
Advanced degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field.
+/- 5 years’ experience in a senior finance role.
Strong interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
Solid communication skills both written and verbal.
Deep understanding of business principles and practices.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent multi-tasking abilities.

Monitor and maintain the computer systems and networks of the entire organization.
Install and configure computer systems, diagnose hardware and software faults and solve technical and applications problems.
Setting up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices.
Troubleshooting and fault finding.
Ordering of computer hardware and parts.
Warranty repairs of IT hardware and software support.
Installations, software updates and server upgrades.
Maintaining inventory and relevant software audits to ensure required valid licensing is in place.
Seeking opportunities through IT systems to improve overall service management.
Managing all infrastructures (eg: Cisco Switches, VPN).
